Gary Barlow at Thornton Manor 2nd October 2018

The lead singer from popular band Take That, will be discussing his new memoir at a special event at Thornton Manor in Thornton Hough on Tuesday 2nd October 2018, and is inviting members of the public to join him. 

And it gets even better. Ten lucky winners will be selected on the night to meet the man himself after the event for a photograph.

Mere Brook Honey

Mere Brook honey has recently undergone testing by a student of Chester university.

Jessica Jones, who is studying biomedical science, with a particular interest in microbiology,  carried out some tests to asses our honeys antibacterial properties and found  that in most instances, Mere Brook Honey proved to be just as, if not more effective than Activon (a medical grade honey used on wounds).

Our honey is available to buy from us at £6 for a 1lb jar or £3.50 for a 1/2lb jar.
